Owned and operated by Walter Winters, Adams Gardens Wholesale Nursery is located in Harlingen, Texas, the most southern area of the state. The Rio Grande Valley has a subtropical climate ideal for plant growth and soil rich in nutrients.
What once began as a small business specializing in container plants and shrubbery, Adams Gardens evolved over the years and acquired more land. Operations were soon expanded to include tropical, desert, and high elevation palm trees, which is now their specialty.
Adams Gardens Wholesale Nursery was the first to introduce locally the method of stretch wrapping palm tree root balls, a technical innovation that preserves moisture and reduces stress on the plants during transport.
